Laseronics organizes the finals of the Egyptian DJ Competition "Thirst 08" for Heineken Event at Citystars Cairo

Laseronics Design interstellar organized the entire Thirst08 DJ competition finals for Heineken. Our objective was to present Egypt a rave second to none and mark a new era in the rave scene in Egypt. With Khaled Hussein, Egypt’s most prominent DJ and Heineken a major party producer we found the right partners to start this challenging event. The venue was a big issue security and logistical wise and was found in the 8^th floor of Citystars, Egypt’s biggest and most known mall. Booking DJ John Digweed (rated 3^rd best DJ worldwide) and Joyce Mercedes for this event was a must to guarantee highest entertainment. Phoenix and the Drummers performed a spectacular show specially designed for this event to meet the Raver's expectation – adding a new entertainment segment to the so out fashioned raves done in Egypt. Specially designed Visuals have been projected on 4 huge LED screens. The intelligent lighting with over than 100 Moving Heads, 300 ParCans and over 150meter trussing was designed by Light Designer “HAT” - a prominent light designer that was engaged in the production of Ultra Feast in Miami. The decoration was designed by Laseronics and Khaled Hussein and was extra manufactured for this event to complete the entire atmosphere and highlight the brand Heineken. 9 Lasers completed the set projecting beams and atmospherics for the first time in Egypt’s rave history. Yousri El Gazar was assisted by Tobias "Toto" Broecking a long lasting friend and Technical Director at the bigger productions of Laseronics.

Information Technology and National Security Conference in Riyadh - Saudi Arabia

With great pride and pleasure, Laseronics Design Interstellar organized and directed under the production of Mainline Saudi and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz the Conference of Information Technology & National Security Conference 12/2007 in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Laseronics brought a German sound and light crew under the technical supervision of Tobias Broecking. On the first day an opening show and ceremony was held. High delegates from all over the world discussing National Security Technology witnessed a flawless event in which more than 30 presentations where held during the following 3 days. 3 Hi power video projectors + 2 LED Screens displayed messages, movies and presentations.  The special light design was created using mainly LED lights in order to get best coloring. After the great success the entire production team was invited by Prince Abdel Aziz bin Bandar to his private palace where we spent a wonderful evening.

King Abdullah University  for Science and Technology Celebrates Groundbreaking Ceremony with Lasers in Saudi Jeddah

In November 2007 the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated its groundbreaking ceremony of King Abdullah University  for Science and Technology (KAUST) with a spectacular show attended by his majesty King Abdullah in Zawl nearby Jeddah. Laseronics provided 3 Multicolor lasers for Havpro and performed a synchronized laser show. The minute his majesty the King pushed the button for the start, Laseronics filled the entire huge tent (150m x 80m x 30m height) with multiple colored beams indicating the message spread to the world. In the same moment video projections where displayed on 3 huge eye-liner screens by Pico-Bahrain.

Libya: A multimedia show on our water screen for Seif El Islam MuammarAl Gadafi and the people of Sirte

Laseronics Design Interstellar-ME the leading company in the middle east for laser and multimedia shows just finished a complete show for the celebration of the Grand Man Made River in Sirte; President Muammar Al Gadafi's birth place. The Grand Man Made River is a grand project made by the French Company Vinci Grand Projects pumping dwell water from the south boarder to the north coast in Libya. A 5 minute show on our 30meter x 20 meter water screen using 1 Multicolor and 2 green lasers, video projectors, intelligent light, a special soundtrack and 3 Pangolin Software have been used to tell the story of the unforgiving conditions of the dessert and how life of the locals will change after receiving 1million qm3 of fresh water every day. The show was very well received and further projects are in planning in Libya. The entire show was broadcasted more than 3 x in the following days on Libyan National TV.

Etisalat Launch at the Pyramids of Giza

1500 attendees including many ministers and high level delegates were treated to an evening of breathtaking and awe inspiring series of high impact entertainment segments by Lead Marketing.  The five hour show was kicked off by an impressive multimedia show produced by our combined US and Egyptian teams of Laseronics .  The multimedia show opening incorporated two 20x20 meters constructed projection screens with two 10,000 Ansi-Lumen projectors.  Two color lasers projected custom designed graphics onto to the giant projection screens adding another dimension to the synchronized video segment produced by Laseronics for the event.  A powerful Verdi laser beamed onto the audience through the star gate constructed by Phoenix Fire Dancers on the 30 meter stage.  Two Biltz lasers mounted on both sides of the stage were also synchronized filling the stage with green beams simulating the Etisalat network in action.

Dinner was accompanied by the Egyptian Symphony Orchestra followed by a beautiful water fountain show by Magical Water.  Magical Water is a multi-national company based in Belgium with an office in the UAE and worldwide fixed installations and award winning shows. Laseronics is the sole agent for Magical Waters in Egypt.

For the grand finale, Phoenix Fire Dancers of Austria put on an amazing and spectacular show sure to live in everyone’s memory for years to come.  Phoenix Productions specialize in producing quality, cutting edge shows for all occasions across the globe. Axiom Telecommunication celebrates dealer meeting.

On Sunday 3^rd of June 2007, Axiom Telecom celebrated their recent launch by inviting all its dealers for an evening of fun and information exchange.  Laseronics produced a multi-media show that incorporated two green lasers and one multi-color laser and video footage.  The Axiom Telecom movie and Logo was projected onto 12 screens and six plasma screens around the convention room (El Saraya, Intercontinental City Stars). 

Etisalat pre-launches its services with Phoenix Firedancers and a Multimedia Show

On Thursday 24^th of May 2007 Etisalat the third mobile phone network in Egypt celebrated their pre-launch by inviting all its employees for an evening of entertainment and team building.  Our team spent two days setting up and rehearsing for the multi-faceted event.  Laseronics, agent for Phoenix FireDancers, provided two green lasers and a multi-color laser for a complex two part performance filled with Pyrotechnic effects.  Laseronics produced and preformed a multi-media show that incorporated two green lasers, one multi-color laser, two projectors and screens.  Etisalat executives were so impressed with the multi-media show; they asked that we close the entertainment segment with a live beam show.  We are grateful for the close cooperation with the team of Lead Marketing Solutions for making it possible to execute a very successful and impressive event.

Buddy Bears arrive in Cairo with a spectacular Multimedia Show in Cairo

The First Lady, H. E. Suzanne Mubarak - patron of the "United Buddy Bears" in Cairo together with Hans-Dietrich Genscher (former German Foreign Minister) and the Governor of Cairo, H.E. Dr. Abdel Azim Wazir, opened the exhibition on the evening of 11th April during a festive ceremony. Hundreds of guests, among them many ministers and government officials as well as delegates from a large number of embassies took part in the event. The opening ceremony, the ensuing speech by the Governor of Cairo and the performance of the children’s choir of the Cairo Opera House were broadcast live on Egyptian television. Laseronics created the multi media show using a multi color laser and 2 green lasers synchronized with video projection.  The video clip told the story of the United Buddy Bear’s journey around the world and the color laser was used for text and graphics.  The show was projected on a transparent screen to ensure the guests would be able to see the beautiful venue and surrounding gardens.

Laseronics Middle East helps Mobinil celebrate its 10 millionth subscriber!

On the evening of March 28, founder and Creative Director Yousri El Gazar and the team of Laseronics executed a flawless laser light show as a prelude (introduction) to the famous Latina star Shakira. The ten minute laser light extravaganza was beamed from the base of the Chephren pyramid (middle great pyramid) onto a twenty thousand strong audience situated over a kilometer away across the desert.  The show was so spectacular that the audience was expecting Shakira to come out from the pyramids! The orange laser beam flooded the desert creating a beautiful sea of orange.  The beams were adjusted to touch the tops of the spectators’ heads which dyed everyone’s hair a Mobinil orange.

To pull off this amazing show, Laseronics brought together, four of the most powerful air cooled laser in the world.   2 air-cooled Jenlas Lasers, each with a single output configured specifically to beam the strongest orange laser ever produced.  One multicolor air-cooled Jenlas laser with 2 outputs and one Verdi 10 Watt laser.  All the lasers were driven by 3 Pangolin cards over a wireless network.

Saudi: “Smart Cities Forum” with a spectacular public laser show in Riyadh!

At a ceremony attended by HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, the city of Riyadh celebrated its first street to have wireless internet. This was a test to enable the entire city of Riyadh into a wireless net city. Laseronics was asked to aim a beam from the Faisaliah Tower to the Tahlia street where a second multicolor laser was displaying graphics and animations related to the event.

Egypt:  Laseronics performs a spectacular multi-media show in Cairo.

Recently Novartis and EventME hired us to help launch two products at the Baron Palace in Heliopolis, Cairo.  We combined video footage, with originally arranged and edited music, and three Lasers.  Laseronics Design Interstellar – ME is the only company in the Middle East that can produce a multimedia show of this kind.  Laseronics uses computer software that combines lights, lasers, video, sound and special effects into a complete show!  This allows Laseronics’ clients to preview the entire show in our studio, and insures the execution of a flawless show.

Pakistan: “Tourism & Sindh Festival 2007” in Islamabad and Karachi with lasers!

With the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Pervez Musharaf and the Governour of Sindh seated in the front row, Laseronics performed 2 separate shows. The first show was part of the Tourism Festival “Destination Pakistan” which took place in Islamabad and was organized by the fabulous RTeam.  Our laser show was so well received, we were hired for a second show a month later in Karachi to enhance the Sindh Festival by accompanying the best Sufi singers and bands. The entire Festival was managed by the famous singer Zoheib Hassan.

Smart Villages Egypt celebrated it's last years achievements by inviting 500 of Egypt's top manager and politicians for "Iftar" in Ramadan. The management wanted to present it's achievement in a modern and superior way and chose Laseronics to fulfill this difficult task. The venue was the main garden area in Smart Villages surrounded by 5 modern buildings and 2 artificial lakes that had to be incorporated in the show without effecting the overall architectural nature of the Venue.

A difficulty was the strong wind that blows' in the 6th of October area. Laseronics illuminated the buildings with 12 City color 2800 watts and 12 x Mac2000. 12 further Space Cannons 7K each completed the lighting incorporated into the multimedia show. After Egypt's Prime Minister Dr. Nazif and other dignitaries held their speech, it was time for Laseronics to begin the show. The show consisted of highlighting Smarts Villages in the last year and the future goals. We used 2 different lasers to project text and images combined with 3 x 5000 Ansi Lumen video projectors projecting on the buildings and a 10 meter wide water curtain. The entire show was synchronized to a special edited peace of up beat music and ended with a spectacular Firework show.  Please click on the right picture to see the results.

Riyadh celebrates Al Faisal University  Launch with Lasers !

With a media spectacular of its own kind HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched Al Faisal University. The crown prince laid the foundation stone for the high-tech private university in Riyadh in the presence of a large number of dignitaries including senior princes, ministries, top government officials and foreign diplomats.

Laseronics provided the special effects for this spectacular occasion. We aimed a white beam on King Faisal’s palace from the Faisaliah tower which lies 3 KM away. At the Palace, a second white laser beam aimed at a crystal was simultaneously being launched slowly upwards from a hole on a special hydraulic device. The reflected white laser beam on the crystal fractured into thousands of rainbow colors like a prism. As the show progressed, colored laser patterns and abstracts forms projected on heavy smoke created amazing illusions of floating images in the air. The lasers used where 1 Jenlas Laser with 2x 8Watt fiber coupled outputs, a 1 watt DPSS multicolor Laser and Pangolin Software.

With great pride and honor, Laseronics participated in the opening ceremony of the African Soccer Cup of Nations 2006. Laseronics installed 2 x 40 Watt YAG Lasers for aerial effects such as beams, waves and other geometrical patterns displayed in the air. In addition we had 2 x 10 watts green DPSS "Blitz" laser for displaying graphics and text on the playground during a spectacular 20 minutes firework show. Every time we projected "Egypt 2006" with the strong lasers on the playground, the crowd cheered loudly.  We created more than 20 animations containing soccer, Africa related animations and the mascot of the games.

General Motors celebrated its 20th anniversary in Egypt with a family day inviting all factory workers, their families and employees. Over 3500 people watched a thrilling and breathtaking extravaganza including light, sound, pyro techniques, video and of course lasers. The entire multimedia spectacle was directed and organized by Laseronics.

Again, Laseronics the leading laser show provider was chosen to execute the lasershow for the 6th of October celebration "Victory Day". The show consisted of beam and aerial elements as well as graphics underlining the story of the Egyptian people struggling against occupation and the victory of the 6th of October war. Further laser graphics were displayed to enhance the post-war performance. The equipment used where hi power YAG and an Argon Lasers.

Our engineering department is also working on a Moving Head Laser Projector that will be sold together with LD2000. We have been asked by Dubai's renowned Event Management Company HQ to participate in a show for the launch of "Nawras Telecom", Oman's second Telecommunication company. After inspecting the sight (Al Bustan Hotel's garden in Muscat) and getting the storyboard, we recommended using a Chroma 10 Multicolor Laser producing more than 16,8 million colors and displaying images and laser animation on a 10m wide water curtain. The show consisted of 2 parts:

The first part displaying the Omani heritage in still images and animation with lasers and the advantages of Nawras Telecommunication to the guests in a laser show synchronized to the music on the water screen.

The second part was displaying aerial beam effects to the breath taking act of the "Phoenix Firedancers" . The show consisted of 4 elements: Water, Fire, Earth and Space. Laseronics supported this act with beam effects synchronized to the Music and the performance.

New Waterscreen designed and built by Laseronics for our 2005 events !

We realized after using our Waterscreen that we need to have a Waterscreen suiting ANY Venue. Our former Waterscreen had only one screen size. Therefore we built a Waterscreen that suits the needs of our customers by giving the opportunity to achieve different spray hood sizes without loosing projection quality. The new Waterscreen can be adjusted to change the screen size from 4m width and 3m height to up 25m width to 18m height. A second important issue was reducing the weight of the Waterscreen to increase mobility. This Waterscreen was used successfully at a launch for a automobile company. The Waterscreen was used mainly to project Lasers and Video on it. The 5 minute synchronized show was a full success resulting in booking this Waterscreen for other shows already. This is another step Laseronics to suit our clients needs.

For the second year in a row Laseronics was asked  to perform a Laser show for the Jeddah Shopping Festival. We performed with 2 high power 40 Watts YAG Lasers and 2 DSP Lasergraph that were operated via wireless LAN for this show. The first part of the show was mainly text and graphics projected on 2 custom made  water screens. The second part was projecting beams and effects in synchronization with Arabic music and the famous "Mohamed Abdu" who performed life on the huge 150 meter wide stage. Choosing us again for this large scale event certifies Laseronics high quality when performing laser shows in the Middle East. Shortly after this show Laseronics was asked again to perform further high profile shows in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Nadia wins Laser Jam 2003 vote for a flash presentation!

At an internal contest within the Laser Jam 2003 participants, our Art Director Mrs. Nadia Farid won best Flash for the new ILDA webpage. Right-Click on the right image and push "Play" to watch the result.

Laserists from around the world gather together to Jam using Laser animations and Beam effects. The Jam is a great opportunity to share knowledge and to make new contacts and friends in the International Laser Community. Laseronics already participated in the Jam 2002.

Laseronics Egypt has just completed a production in Cairo/Egypt for the "Egyptian Media Production City". The EMPC is third largest Media City in the world after Hollywood and India. President Mubarak, his wife and several Arab Ministers attended the show. The show was broadcasted on TV in 19 Arab countries. The production included 500 dancers from the Cairo Opera, Fireworks, Moving Lights, Washing Lights, a 35meter wide Water screen, Video Projector and high-power Lasers.

After several successful events Laseronics Design Interstellar's ME Manager Mr. Yousri El Gazar was interviewed by the Egyptian TV in an interview at prime time explaining the use of Lasers in the advertising, marketing and event industry.

Squash World Championship at the Pyramids of Giza!

Laseronics first big show in the Middle East was the "World Squash Championships" at the Pyramid of Giza. A high power YAG laser was used for this event displaying animations on the great pyramids of Giza. For the first time the 3 pyramids where covered by aerial beams with one Laser. The display included sports, animations and beam effects. 

Laseronics Northwest changes its name into Laseronics Design Interstellar and launches its services in Egypt through "Crown Trade Egypt".  The local Egyptian team was carefully trained and the necessary equipment was brought into Egypt including a 35 Watt YAG Laser (probably the strongest laser at that time in the Middle East). "Crown Trade Egypt"  was ordered to work out a promising marketing plan and control the operations to achieve max. success.
